Annual research paper competition designed to stimulate students and residents to present and publish papers read at national scientific meetings. The best paper read is awarded a cash prize and a certificate of commendation.
American Psychiatric Association (APA) Travel Scholarship
Competitive travel scholarship awarded to support travel and related costs for approximately 10 medical students interested in psychiatry to attend the APA Annual Meeting in May 2014.
American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) Life Member’s Medical Student Mentorship Grant
Competitive travel grant awarded to select medical students from across the country to attend the 60th Annual AACAP Meeting and participate in a mentorship program. Awarded based on previous experiences in psychiatry and potential to contribute to the field in the future.
